Chemolan B6J3

Fields of application
CHEMOLAN B6J3 is a moisture
curing, solvent free, PUR binder of
medium viscosity. It is based on
MDI.
Chemolan B6J3 is used for bonding rubber or EPDM granules in
production tiles, mats and other
rubber mouldings. Rubber tiles
are used as playground surfaces,
surfaces in sports facilities, on
terraces, pavements, in gardens
and swimming pools as well as in
animal housing areas using from 2,5%–35% binder by weight. Reaction of binder need some amount of water
which we can put during mixing with granules at end of mixing, or we can use of water
vapour during moulding. Amount of water
which we need is 1,5–4% of total weight of
moulded mass.

Elements using Chemolan B6J3 exhibit good mechanical properties,
elasticity and durability.

Application method
CHEMOLAN B6J3 is used as a
moisture curing binder for recycled granules for moulded rubber
rebounding.
Due to the medium viscosity
CHEMOLAN B6J3 is easily mixed
with the rubber granules in ambient
condition. Mixture of binder and
granules is loaded in to moulds,
compacted and forming in higher
temperature. Moulds should heat
to temperature 70–110°C.
Amount of binder depends on
many factors like size of granules,
pressing strength and others. We
