Fields of application
Permeable coating ELTAN EPDM is
recommended for school and residential settlement playgrounds, and
for racetracks. The coating ELTAN
EPDM is a perfect technological
solution suitable for amateurs as
well as for professionals. This type
of coating can be applied both on
concrete beds, and on tarmac. This
coating can also be applied on a
mineral base. In such case, additional bearing layer is used, and the
coating is offered as ELTAN P.

Durability
Based on our experience we can guarantee
that this surface is long lasting. Restoration
may be required after approximately 5–6
years of intensive use.

Available colours
Colours of individual playing fields for various
types of sports are chosen based on our customer’s individual requirement.

Advantages
Coating of this type is flexible and
durable in use. The main features
of ELTAN EPDM coating are: water
permeability, allowing maximum
use of surface during the year, and
high durability parameters.

Application method
The ELTAN EPDM is a single layer, by
application, on a properly prepared
bedding, of a layer of EPDM granulate bonded by polyurethane adhesive. The overall thickness of the
surface is in the range of 8–13 mm,
depending on investor’s requirements. The bearing layer made of
rubber, gravel and polyurethane, is
prepared directly on customer’s site.
This allows to avoid irregularities of
the outer layer of the coating.
